January 17, 20224 yr So I have an older APC Smart-UPS SC 1500 and I've got the "smart" serial cable (940-0024) for it. My server has a native serial connector and I also have a USB to serial adaptor. I've tested this setup on a laptop and I can communicate with the UPS via the APC Powerchute software. However I cant seem to get Unraid to communicate with the UPS using the serial cable or serail + usb adaptor.... Anyone had any luck with this particular UPS model? I've tried setting the UPS cable to Simple/Smart and Custom (setting 940-0024B as the custom cable). UPS Type I've tried setting to APCsmart etc. Not sure what to do under "device" box to be honest.
