Can't install apps fails to pull

Featured Replies

unraid was running fine one minute, then plex wasn't accessible form the outside network, sonar nzb etc all seem to work, nginx proxy manager for overseerr also stopped, nothing on the network was changed. I thought the modem was randomly blocking ports again, so I changed it. made no difference.

I read forums all day long couldn't fix it. tuned off the docker deleted the docker-xfs.img file, also deleted the network config file.

now I cant install the apps .

kinda stumped on how to fix it without starting again.

if anyone has any suggestions or knows what I can do to fix it, That would be great.

Cheers

EDIT: it must have been fluke that it installed an app, as i cant install any app

nah didn't make a difference. had to install the community apps in safe mode, so assuming I did it all correctly

Then the next guess would be a browser extension conflicting.  Try a different browser.

tried internet explorer it doesn't even load the app page, tried edge an firefox, gives the same result. have tried on two different pc's

I downloaded unraid onto a new usb, booted in, I have 3 10tb drives 1 parity. I selected the 2 data drives, checked that i could see my data and it wouldn't let me download any apps then either, it let me download the community apps plugin obviously, at the point of try this the appdata folder was empty as I had tried deleting everything from it.

I also tried moving all share from the cache drive array, and disabled the cache pool.

dunno I'm running  out of ideas. has been 3 days of trying to trouble shoot, I dont have enough hdd space to back up and wipe everything off everydrive to start again

from what i can tell it all works except the download of apps from CA

EDIT: It creates the app folder in the appdata folder for the app.

Do this as a test.  Settings - Docker.  Stop the service.

Change the image type from XFS to instead be btrfs (you're not going to lose the existing image / apps)

Restart the service and try installing something.

there isn't any apps installed, as i tried deleting the image in the hope i could install apps again.

I tried

re running permissions

docker in directory mode

tried different DNS settings

changed default path routing in network settings <- have returned these to default

deleting docker image from docker gui, also tried deleting it from windows explorer

one thing i did find, is to delete 4 of the apps out of the appsdata folder I had to use the mc in terminal as windows couldnt delete the files. I ended up deleting the whole appdat folder, rebooted and unraid recreated it when i tried to install an app.

is there anything in the bios that could cause this? it had been fine for month before hand, I shut the server down to shift it and 3 days later everything started going wrong. iwas at work and a mate was watching plex when it all of sudden would work with plex then I couldn't install apps etc.

Setting up a new usb with clean version of unraid on my existing drive still had the problem. I have an old 1tb drive sitting around, i might take out all my drives and put this one drive in on the new usb and make sure i can get everything working.

Cheers for your help so far, all your suggestions so far I hadn't tried.

OK, so something really strange is happening, I can download apps that are from linuxservers , I tried several others from different repository's and they fail.

an update:

I plugged into another internet connection and I can downloads apps without an issue, plug back into mine and nothing.

So maybe the ISP blocked stuff?

Yeah, it's something weird happening there.  They're letting requests go through to github (lsio's lscr.io which mirrors back to ghcr) but blocking access to dockerHub itself.  (Or its your modem doing this)

well sorry for wasting your time, and any others who read all this, but turns out it was an issue with our NBN (Australia's shitty internet service) and not the ISP. told me how to reset the nbn settings and all good.

still very strange

What was the fix here?

I'm having the same issue on Superloop.

I am also experiance this now with AussieBB.

Was there any result with this? I'm having the same issue with AussieBB now as well. No issues prior to now with FTTP but using an Aussie Supplied Netcomm NF20Mesh router, its having issues. Incredibly frustrating.
