Fogey Posted January 19, 2022 Share Posted January 19, 2022 I set up TDARR following Spaceinvader1's video. So far, I've done 221 encodes - but I have over 400 Transcode Errors! I've obviously done something wrong - can anybody help me please? I'm a newbie and have very little knowledge of this stuff . Here's a listing of one of the failed files: NodeID: GTX1650SUper Command: ffmpeg -i /mnt/media/Movies/Opening Night (2016).avi -map 0 -c:v hevc_nvenc -rc:v vbr_hq -cq:v 19 -b:v 495085k -minrate 346559k -maxrate 643610k -bufsize 990171k -spatial_aq:v 1 -rc-lookahead:v 32 -c:a copy -c:s copy -max_muxing_queue_size 9999 /temp/Opening Night (2016)-TdarrCacheFile-7uwWc_Wym.mkv Last 200 lines of CLI log: ffmpeg version 4.3.2-Jellyfin Copyright (c) 2000-2021 the FFmpeg developers built with gcc 9 (Ubuntu 9.3.0-17ubuntu1~20.04) configuration: --prefix=/usr/lib/jellyfin-ffmpeg --target-os=linux --extra-version=Jellyfin --disable-doc --disable-ffplay --disable-shared --disable-libxcb --disable-sdl2 --disable-xlib --enable-gpl --enable-version3 --enable-static --enable-libfontconfig --enable-fontconfig --enable-gmp --enable-gnutls --enable-libass --enable-libbluray --enable-libdrm --enable-libfreetype --enable-libfribidi --enable-libmp3lame --enable-libopus --enable-libtheora --enable-libvorbis --enable-libdav1d --enable-libwebp --enable-libvpx --enable-libx264 --enable-libx265 --enable-libzvbi --enable-libzimg --arch=amd64 --enable-opencl --enable-vaapi --enable-amf --enable-libmfx --enable-vdpau --enable-cuda --enable-cuda-llvm --enable-cuvid --enable-nvenc --enable-nvdec --enable-ffnvcodec libavutil 56. 51.100 / 56. 51.100 libavcodec 58. 91.100 / 58. 91.100 libavformat 58. 45.100 / 58. 45.100 libavdevice 58. 10.100 / 58. 10.100 libavfilter 7. 85.100 / 7. 85.100 libswscale 5. 7.100 / 5. 7.100 libswresample 3. 7.100 / 3. 7.100 libpostproc 55. 7.100 / 55. 7.100 Input #0, avi, from '/mnt/media/Movies/Opening Night (2016).avi': Metadata: encoder : AVI-Mux GUI 1.17.8.3, Feb 16 201019:42:50 JUNK : Duration: 01:23:17.61, start: 0.000000, bitrate: 2374 kb/s Stream #0:0: Video: mpeg4 (Advanced Simple Profile) (XVID / 0x44495658), yuv420p, 720x304 [SAR 1:1 DAR 45:19], 1984 kb/s, 23.98 fps, 23.98 tbr, 23.98 tbn, 23.98 tbc Stream #0:1: Audio: ac3 ([0] [0][0] / 0x2000), 48000 Hz, 5.1(side), fltp, 384 kb/s Stream mapping: Stream #0:0 -> #0:0 (mpeg4 (native) -> hevc (hevc_nvenc)) Stream #0:1 -> #0:1 (copy) Press [q] to stop, [?] for help [mpeg4 @ 0x5563f4be90c0] Video uses a non-standard and wasteful way to store B-frames ('packed B-frames').
