Server boots to bios with unraid but straight to OS with windows on new hardware. Help

Featured Replies

I recently upgraded my server hardware from a ryzen 5 to a threadripper. When i try to boot into unraid it goes straight to bios. however with windows installer it boots right into installer. Im unsure of what could be causing this issues as unraid was working fine before the upgraded hardware. Im not thinking this is any hardware related issue. Perhaps a bios setting? Any thoughts?

Note: I am using all the same drives/hardware except for CPU and motherboard. I did also install a GPU so maybe that is conflicting?

-Threadripper 3960X
-ASUS ROG Zenith II Extreme
-WD SN550 1TB m.2
-Unraid usb

Make sure you've enabled UEFI support in Unraid, either when using the USB tool or by manually renaming EFI- to EFI in the flash drive.
