April 23, 201115 yr In unRAID 4.6 I ran the pre clear on a new drive, put in the desired slot on the server. Stopped the array to assign the drive and format it. The unRAID maid menu does not see the drive. However, unMenu sees it and knows that it's not formatted and it knows it's not part of the array. Why doesn't the unRAID main menu see it so I can format it and assign it?

Why doesn't the unRAID main menu see it so I can format it and assign it? You must reboot for unRAID 4.6 to see it. In 5.0beta6a it will see it when you just stop the array. Earlier versions only scan for the list of available drives when you first reboot.
