Hi,

 

I want to build an unRaid Server and have all the components together. The GIGABYTE B560I AORUS Pro AX has all the features I need is available and affordable. Unfortunately I cannot find any hint in the forums if this will work with unRaid.

I cannot comment on that motherboard specifically; however, unRAID is very hardware agnostic and runs on just about any hardware.  There are many users with B560 based boards and 10th/11th generation Intel CPUs running unRAID.

The WiFi isn't going to be utilized at all, and you'll save money by getting a board that doesn't have it built-in.

It was the only board available with 2.5GB Networking in my area.

Ok thanks I was hoping that would be the case but the MB compatibility list made me nervous. I will order that then

And that might be a problem.  Depending on the LAN chip used, unRAID may not currently have a driver for it even in 6.10.0 RC2.  If it is the Intel I225-V NIC, indications are that will require the 5.15 Linux kernel slated to be released in the next 6.10.0 RC.

I have this MB. Haven't tested the 2.5GbE speeds yet but one issue I have is that I can't get any fan speeds in the System Temp settings.
