Ikanno
Hey guys, I'm not new to unraid but fairly inexperienced relating Unraid. Currently I have a set up a 2TB HDD drive for data and a 2TB HDD drive as parity. I want to swap out the data drive for two 2TB SSDs. I precleared the SSDs and now have the problem that I get the "disk size too small"-error when I try to assign one drive even it being the same size. I attached some screenshots. Has anyone experienced this problem? Quote Link to comment
Solution JorgeB Posted January 25, 2022 Solution Share Posted January 25, 2022 Unraid has the partitions starting on sector 2048 for SSDs vs 64 for disks, so there's a little less space and you can't direct replace a disk with an SSD of the same capacity, you can create a new array and manually copy the data though. 1 Quote Link to comment
