January 27, 20224 yr I've been struggling with this all day. I switched over to Verizon Fios (using their G3100 router) and I lost the ability to access my server via Windows (the shared network folder - they started asking for a password and my root account login would not work). Initially I could still access the web GUI but I went looking in there to see if something in the network settings was amiss, and I definitely screwed something up and could not figure out what. And since then, the web GUI would time out. My ipv4 shows Not Set. I went through the similar complaints I could find on these forums. I deleted the network.cfg (and network-rules.cfg). After a long while of going back and forth with the usb drive, it got to a point where when I went in to console it would ask for my log in - which would register. But then it would not let me type anything for my password. Ultimately, I just gave up - I couldn't get to a point to record a 'diagnostics' and instead (backed up the old install by copying the files from the USB to my desktop), and reinstalled Unraid on the thumbdrive for a fresh start. But I'm having the same issue with the connection. But at least now I can properly log in to the tower to run diagnostics. The router can definitely see the server connection via ethernet... but it lists the ipv4 address as 0.0.0.0 and (obviously) cannot ping it. I've attached that here. I could really use some help with this. I'm in way over my head and have so much stored on my drives (I use this as a nas server for my business). Thank you! tower-diagnostics-20220127-1440.zip
