Strange copy behavior that results in failure. Appears to copy twice then fails

Featured Replies

Ok so I have tried this from 2 different windows computers to the Unraid system and I get the behavior from both of them.

I have aa media share on the Plex and when I try to copy a file to it appears to copy normally then right as it is about to hit 100 percent the progress bar resets to zero and starts over but the second time then once it gets to 100 the second time if gives an error stating the the This is no longer located in "source path to the file". Verify the item's location and try again

I see this in the log file:

Jan 28 21:34:37 UNIMATRIX-0 smbd[28641]: [2022/01/28 21:34:37.578242, 0] ../../source3/smbd/dfree.c:140(sys_disk_free)

Thanks a lot!
I've been searching around forever for a fix for this exact problem, in the end, i was certain it was a hardware defect.

This fixed it, thank you!
