January 31, 20224 yr Hi All, I have been trying to reformat a hard drive formatted with XFS and convert it back to NTFS. I have replaced a couple 6TB hard drives from my server and replaced them with 10TB drives and would like to use the 6TB drives I removed from my server in a windows computer. I have search and either my google fu isn't that good, or I cannot seem to find a way to reformat the drives back to NTFS. I took a screen shot of Windows Disk Management and while the drive is seen, Windows will not let me reformat the drive. Windows will not let me initialize the drive either. I am a bit lost on what to do to reuse the drives. Thanks in advance!
