Solved by Squid

What were you trying to edit with nano???  It was consuming 15Gig of memory

Hello Squid,

thank you for your answer, i really appreciate your help. As far as i am aware i didn't try to edit anything. The only files i opened with nano were configs for swag as i setup nextcloud so i am really confused how so much memory was in use.

Is there an way or log that i can check to find the files in use. I am kinda worried that i broke something while trying to get nextcloud to work.

At the time of the OOM, nano was open and was consuming ~15Gig.  Quite possible you opened the wrong file and then did the correct one, but it was the cause of the OOM

Thank you for your help.
