February 10, 20224 yr I have an APC UPS and I have two computers hooked up to the battery along with my network switch. My Unraid server is the master and my other computer is the slave. I got them connected and working. My question is in regard to the 'Turn off UPS after shutdown' option. If I set it to 'yes', How does it know when both my servers have shut down and it is safe to power itself off? I don't want to have it accidentally power off in the middle of a shut down process.
February 10, 20224 yr Community Expert You basically need to time how long it takes the slave to power down and then set the master (Unraid) to use a longer time (with a small safety margin to allow for variability in the slave).
