Here's my syslog...

I'm not good at deciphering it, can someone look at it?

Hmm, you have changed the array config a number of times. The last start disk1 and disk2 mounted fine. It appears you unassigned the cache disk. I'm guessing the Hitachi will be used for parity?

I'm not sure why you can't get disk1 to work. Did you do anything to prepare it for unRAID, like run the preclear script on it?

One guess would be that unRAID is parsing the disk2,disk1 wrong and assuming the disk numbers are in order meaning it's not including disk1. Try using disk1,disk2 instead.

Yes I have changed it a few times...Correct the Hitachi will be the parity drive....

I ran the preclear on all of the drives before setting up any of the shares...disk order doesn't seem to make any difference.

I can't even create a share on JUST disk1...it says that it's full?

I think I have figured it out...

Doh! I'm already rerunning a preclear script!! GR!

So under share settings, disk1 was listed as an excluded disk for some odd reason...I'm assuming that's why it wouldn't write to it!!

I have not figured it out yet.  I precleared my drives again so it's like I'm starting over.  But I cannot create a user share...here's my log...

I think a reboot has fixed this issue...
