Waking an unraid server with another from S3 sleep

Featured Replies

Is it possible to wake another unraid server on access? I have the shares mounted through unassigned devices but the data on there is infrequently accessed.

I know I can just wake it up by pressing the power button but it would be nicer if it was automated.

Any thoughts?

Yes, either manually send the magic package or use this to wake your server on any request: https://github.com/nikp123/wake-on-arp

Don't forget the g WOL flag in the sleep plugin setting

You can schedule a user script via cron. I use the 'etherwake macadress' command.
