I just upgraded to 5.0_6a.

 

Now when I try to browse view windows explorer I cannot access any of the shares.

 

If I try to access a user share \\tower\my movies I get prompted for a username/password.  Never seen this before.

 

If I try to access a disk \\tower\disk1 I get an error that it does not exist.

 

I'm running Win7, but did not have any issues with v4.4.2  I'm sure I'm just missing something in the samba configuration, but I don't know where to look.

Well after ton of reading about security and users, I found that everything was setup properly.  So I gave up and rebooted my win7 box.

 

@#$!@#$ Not is works just fine.
