April 30, 201115 yr I've done some reading on this, but I just want to be sure. To take out 2 empty drives at one time in version 4.6 my plan is to: 1. screen shot the devices tab 2. stop the array 3. unassign the drives I want to take out 4. power down and physically remove them 5. power up and do initconfig in the console 6. let parity rebuild and then do a parity check I've read there is a way to do this without losing parity protection during the rebuild, but it seems like a lot more effort. Please let me know if I missed anything or if I'm way off. Thanks.
