February 22, 20224 yr Hey guys, It seems like spinning down is such a common question that I can't sift through enough threads/information to get to what I'm looking for. I have a 30 8TB drive array, mostly storage, that's set to spin down after 4 hours. I want to spin up a single drive to run an extended SMART test, but can't for the life of my find a place to spin up a single disk. Help! On a side note, does the 4 hour spin down delay I set apply if there is a SMART test running? Thanks! Justin
