Klowje Posted February 22, 2022 Share Posted February 22, 2022 It was suggested that I use different model drives from different manufacturers to keep from possibly getting drives from the same manufacturing lot, which, if one drive had a manufacturing defect, they all could. Feel free to use the same models, but try not to ever buy multiples that came through the same shipper. If you must use the same seller, stagger the purchase dates by a couple weeks or more to hopefully get a drive from a new manufacturer shipment each time. Quote Link to comment
