LSI Raid HBA not showing in Unraid after Bios update

Featured Replies

Hi all,

So we are running an Asus Mazimus Vii Hero on Bios V 2801 which ran our LSI HBA fine with all drives configures to JBOD and all recognised in Unraid. We then updated the BIOS V3002, checked the bios settings were the same and booted but Unraid is not reading any drives at all, we have since rolled back the bios to no avail. I have attached the sys logs to check over but I cant see anything wrong.

RAID controller is failing to initialize, test in another PC if available to confirm if it's board related or not.

We can access the bios of the LSI and it all seems to be fine. By test from another PC are you suggesting changing the board out?

No, test the HBA in a different PC/Server, if available, to see if it's initialized correctly.
