"SimpleFeatures" Plugin - Version 1.0.11

Recommended Posts

I was getting the "bad download, deleting file" error that others have talked about.  So I went ahead and installed everything manually.  Unfortunately, the problem I am running into now is the CSS is messed up regardless of what browser I'm using.  I've cleared cache about a million times but keep having the same issue.

Tested using Chrome v22, IE9, IE10, FF v15.

The page is usually fine on first load but as soon as I start navigating within the interface everything goes to hell.

Anyone else experiencing CSS issues with the new SimpleFeatures release?  I had problems with the .plg's installing by themselves on reboot (see below).  So I just ended up installing them manually myself.

Now the issue I'm having is the CSS continually comes and goes as I'm navigating the interface.  I've tested this on the following browsers and cleared cache hundreds of times but no luck.

Browsers tested:  IE9, IE10, FF v15, Chrome v22

Since my Simplefeatures upgrade the other day, my server is no longer sleeping as it did prior. I am using the s3 sleep plugin. I see the option:

Interval of network / device inactivity (minutes): 5

I'm not sure if I had a setting in there before. Does that mean it needs to wait 5 minutes after network activity stops? I have the check box "Wait for network inactivity:" below set to no.

My go file has:

/usr/local/sbin/s3_sleep -a -m10 -t5 -eeth0 -h03 -p /usr/local/bin/postRun

You need to remove any reference to the "old" SimpleFeatures plugins in your go file.

With the new plugin system this is not required anymore and may give issues when not removed.

See screenshot attached - this is how you make it send only errors.

There is a small bug at the moment. Once a field has a value you can't clear it anymore. Will be corrected in the next version!

Temporary workaround:

Edit the file /etc/unraid_notify.conf manually

@bonienl

After removing that from my go file, the server does not sleep again. I am going to remove the simplefeatures.cfg file and restart the server and see what happens.

@speeding_ant

Are you saying it is working, but the server just has nothing to do? With it being an Atom based system I figured I'd see some sort of activity in the CPU and RAM graphs.

I started a download in SABnzbd, and my network graph still shows nothing.

Hello

I'd like to use the SimpleFeatures DNS to redirect some queries to a different upstream DNS server.

For example redirect /cbs.com to DNS server 1.2.3.4

Would you consider modifying your DNS plugin with a section where one could add any additional DNSMasq parms.?

Such as  server=/cbs.com/1.2.3.4

Did you also remove the old "tgz" files in the /boot/extra folder ?

Does the status of the Sleep plugin (top right in the settings menu) show "running" ?

Do you also have an empty graph when choosing "since start" as display period?

Lots of questions, but I have the feeling something between old and new SF have mixed up on your system...

That is already possible, put the text "/cbs.com/1.2.3.4 in the field of "External DNS servers".

I removed the entire /boot/extra folder.

Yes, sleep says Running.

No, I have stats when set to since start. That looks good.

Maybe I should remove all of it and start fresh again.

Good idea :)  Sorry, the "server just not busy" joke wasn't serious. I've just had two long days at work back to back.

installed the 1.0.5 plugin and I am getting the following line at the top of the web GUI

"Warning: parse_ini_file(/var/local/emhttp/simpleFeatures.ini): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/webGui/template.php on line 201"

Here are the plugins that I have installed

and only after I Applied the Display Settings did that message go away. Also, the gui font appeared weird(wish I capture a screenshot) and the temp of the drives was in Fahrenheit when settings were showing Celcius.

Please re-read the new installation instructions. We've moved to plg plugins, and the location to put them has changed.

Cheers
