Hello,

 

I am having trouble setting up the user shares correctly.

I have attached a screenshot of the Shares tab with the share I am trying to access.

I am logged into the share as admin

I am able to read but not to write to Elephant\Cartoons

I am able to read/write to Elepahnt\disk3\Cartoons

what have i done incorrectly?

 

I understand that I can read/write to disk3 becuase of Disk shares (SMB) is set to Export read/write

Why can't I read/write with admin, it is set as the exception?

 

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated

 

*apparently you need to restart the server every time you make changes
