nfs linux how to use?

Featured Replies

Hi, I want to use nfs:// instead of smb:// on my server.

I was following these instructions: https://unraid.net/blog/deploying-an-unraid-nfs-server

  1. I've disabled SMB and enabled NFS
  2. I have gone to the shares tab and "exported" the locations I want

but eg. nfs://192.168.1.50 doesn't work

In Pop_OS! I get "Unable to access location, mount point does not exist"

How am I supposed to use this?

Figured it out. On the unraid server:

cat /etc/exports

There's the actual full path of the nfs share.

nfs://192.168.1.50/mnt/user/tank

>> works fine
