March 1, 20224 yr Hello, I have a Perc H310 sas card, in order to expand port I have bought Intel RES2SV240 sas expander, I have connect port A of PERC H310 (IT mode flashed) with a port of RES2SV240, then I connect my Hard disc to other ports in RES2SV240 expander and all work fine; when I try to use the port B pf PERC H310 the other disk doesn't work, why ? Can I use 2 RES2SV240 expander card in the same machine ? thanks Fabrizio

Yes, even on the same HBA, one connected to each port, or by cascading them, but cascading is worst for performance.
