Google removing "less secure apps" option - what to do about email notifications moving forward?

So I got an email saying that Google is removing the option to allow less secure apps, which means that the login setup for notifications via email will no longer work on Unraid. Any idea if there is going to be an update on how we sign in for these notifications moving forward? Google says this is going away completely on May 30th.

    Go into Security on your Google account and create an App Password for your server to use.

    Configure browser push notifications
    Chrome (Android)
    1. Tap the lock icon next to the address bar.
    2. Tap Permissions → Notifications.
    3. Adjust your preference.
    Chrome (Desktop)
    1. Click the padlock icon in the address bar.
    2. Select Site settings.
    3. Find Notifications and adjust your preference.
