Several Partiy NOCORRECT runs gave 7905 errors (always)

Featured Replies

Sorry for another Partiy Check post but I just want to make sure .... ::)

I performed several Parity Check runs (...with the NOCORRECT option) over the last couple of days and it came back with 7905 errors every time. The main menu is showing: Partiy is valid.

Attached is the log for the current running Parity run and I can't see anything special but I guess that this might be due to my very limited skills. SMART is showing no errors and it seems that the Music, Video and Timemachine files are all ok (..I haven't checked all of them of course...) so what is your advise?

Thank you very much.

If it gives the exact same number of errors each time, and the syslog has the errors at the same addresses, it is time to run the parity "sync" (without the NOCORRECT mode)  In that way, the errors will be corrected.
