May 3, 201115 yr Ok, thanks, hopefully I'll still have the impulsive desire then But my APE only has 3 ports, and would like to maybe eliminate that, use the AT&T RG cable that I ran from the basement, and just extend the network that way.

May 6, 201115 yr Google is your friend, type in the model number & then dd-wrt. I don't believe tomato will support any, but there is a tomato spinoff ( sorry forgot the name at the moment) you could look into that as well.
