More than one Cache NVMe, what happens?

Featured Replies

Hello, newbie here.

I started with a 1TB Nvme m.2 and now after a while i felt like adding two 512GB Nvme drives i had lying around.

I added those and my computer and now i have 1Tb + 0,5Tb + 0,5Tb became a total of 0,5TB usable?
I was hoping for a 2TB cache, that the 1TB if filled it would flowover to the 0,5TBs.

Is it a balance i need to do? if so which of them?

Thank you for your time
/Tim

You are likely to get better informed feedback if you post your systems diagnostics zip file.

Since the default profile is RAID1 (for redundancy) you should have ended up with 1TB of usable space.  Your symptoms suggest one of the 0.5TB drives did not get added properly, and this would show in the diagnostics

If you want all the space usable then you need the 'Single' profile.
