I am happy to report, that I upgraded my very old paperless-ng docker to paperless-ngx vers 2.20.15 now as an intermediate migration.

It took me a while to find out the best way and after the usual backups of database and all documents , I created a test environment with copies of all the required data first - then build a new test docker to see, if it worked...

After verification I used the real data and replaced the paperless-ng docker ... needed to build a new docker image to get Unraid take ownership of the new docker correctly, so it appears in the Unraid GUI as usual

(this does not work if you make dockers with docker create and/or docker run...)

Now I will stay on 2.20.15 for a while testing, if after this migration everything stays working - then update / upgrade to version 3

Great work from the NGX development team.... was too busy with my document collection itself, and missed the train a bit for paperless-ngx.... neverless - back on board... although not yet with latest version... :-)

Hello all. Now that Apache-Tika-Server has been blacklisted can there be repurcussions if I continue to use it alongside paperless-ngx and gotenberg. And, is there something else that I should use in its place. I should mention that everything is working like a charm as it stands. Thank you for your time and guidance. Peter

After todays update for this container all my documents are gone and my paperless is completely factory reset.

All Docker settings and folders are still correct, postres and redis also working normal and the paperless log doesn´t show anything weird.

All my files are still in the media / originals folder so nothing lost, but if anybody have any tips to restore my paperless i would be really thankful!
