Device is missing (Disable) Contents Emulated

Featured Replies

I have just been doing some house keeping and have just removed a old HD from my RAID, which I rarely used. taking the discs from 6 to 5  but now I am getting an error message that the Device is Missing (Disable ) Emulated.

is there a way to reset this so that the system knows that I have removed the HD ?

Is there any data on the emulated disk?

No, as I emptied it all out,

Tools, new config, preserve all, apply, go to main tab, make sure assignments are correct, start array and build parity.

In that case you can follow this procedure from the online documentations accessible via the ‘Manual’ link at the bottom of the GUI.
