Win 10 passthrough display issue after upgrading to 6.10.0cr3

Featured Replies

I just updated my server to 6.10.0.CR3. my window 10 virtual machine use to run fine with 1080 resolution using my NVIDIA card pass-through. I didn't change anything in the setting!

I tried updating to VIRTIO-WIN 0.1.215-2 from setting - vm manager i guess this is the latest drivers i used to use VIRTIO-WIN 0.1.173-1. I applied the change in the VM with the latest driver restarted my VM but didn't work.

someone posted this:

"6.10.0 rc2, running Win10 using OVMF.  Make sure you have the latest VertIO drivers downloaded - it comes with a "guest tools" application.  Run it, and it will take care of the rest"

is there another way to update the driver?

thanks

Are you able to Boot or is it shutting down?  I just had a similar issue on Windows 11 after the UNRAID OS/VIRTIO/using OVMF TMP Bios.

If I used VNC graphics card and no sound card it booted up..  Going to see if I can get it to boot after installing the new VIRTIO Drivers
