May 5, 201115 yr I'm not sure if they've been formally tested, but if you search the model number (ST2000DL003) you'll find plenty of people preclearing and using them with success.
May 6, 201115 yr I'm using three of these Seagate Barracuda Green ST2000DL003 64GB drives in my system. Up to now, no issues, no clicking and no firmware update. Temps stable at the 30 Degrees range, a bit higher during parity checks, but never close to 40 Degrees. As good a temperature as I've seen in my tower.
May 6, 201115 yr I've got 3 of these. Been using them for about 2 months with no issues. I'm currently doing a parity check andn they all went upp to 31c. Usually they are at about 28-29 and hardly ever hit 30. I'm happy with them and am considering replacing my 500gb AAKS disks with more of these.
May 6, 201115 yr My Samsung 1.5TB drive has a growing number of bad sectors, so I might pick one of these up.
