March 25, 20224 yr My unraid server USB died and while I thought I had a flash back up I cannot recover it. I had 2 parity drives, but I cannot remember exactly which disks,.... How can I rebuild the array without losing all the data
March 25, 20224 yr Assign all the disks to data slots, LEAVE THE TWO PARITY SLOTS EMPTY, start the array, and hopefully only two drives will be unmountable, those will be your parity disks. Did you have email status alerts configured? Those contain a list of the drives, maybe dig a recent one out of your email trash?
March 28, 20224 yr Author Thank - sorted with the message you mentioned and everything back.... just needed to re-install all the right versions of my docker apps.... Made sure that I backed up my flash this time!
