Drives not assignable.

Hello,

 

I have 12 hard drives attached to a "ARC-1680 series PCIe to SAS/SATA 3Gb RAID Controller". Only 1 of the 12 cards are able to be assigned and I am unsure why. I do have the raid controller set to JBOD. The two PNY SSD's in the pictures are not connected the raid controller but. And yes for anyone that looks up these drives they are old. Nothing important is being stored on this that is not backed up to the cloud.

All twelve of thses drives are functioning properly in windows.

Controller is adding the same end string to all disks, Unraid considers that the serial number and requires a unique one for each device, I've no experience with that controller, it might be possible to change that, if not you'd need to use a different one, ideally a regular HBA, not a RAID controller.

In the event I need to replace the card, do you have a recommendation for server that has for drive bays? This server is not of a specific brand it was pieced together.
