Weather-Display

Featured Replies

I am trying to get weather display running on unRAID so don't have to leave the laptop on 24x7.  The weather display site says the app has been tested with Slackware 9.x and supposedly works but I haven't found a comprehensive how-to.

The error I am getting trying to run the executable  is:  "WeatherD: error while loading shared libraries: libusbdll.so: cannot open shared object file..."

I did a search here and found no reference to libusbdll.so.  Can I install this package with out creating other problems?

Thanks.

Why not use a PHP equivalent?  Would be relatively easy to implement with all the APIs offered these days.

It will be interesting if you get it working.

I'm planning on migrating to VMWare and to have a Virtual machine for unRAID, one for the machine with WeatherDisplay, and maybe even one for my PVR (nPVR).

If you get this working; I have much less of a reason to migrate to VMWare.

Sorry, Speeding_Ant, I should have added the disclaimer that I'm a noob at this and I don't really know anything about php or APIs.  So far with the support of this forum, I have been able to get unRAID up and humming along including Sabnzbd, Sickbeard, CouchPotato and Subsonic, but Weather-Display has me stumped.  I posted a similar query on weather-watch but nothing but crickets there so far.

I will post here once I figure this out.
