Drive 3 Error duruing parity check

Featured Replies

Hello all,

By array started it parity check this morning but has since found some 2552 sector write errors.

I suspect the disc will be the issue and probably need replacing.

However the parity check has been paused will I be able to take the array offline safely and swap the disc out no problem?

Also is it work trying to replace the SATA cable and see if the disk comes back online no problem

I am unable to grab the the SMART report as the disk has been taken offline

Edit : For what it's work the last SMART reading was healthy

Disk dropped offline, reboot/power cycle to see if it comes back and post the diagnostics.

SMART is showing some issues, you should run an extended SMART test.
