[6.9.2] Plex make almost conact reads to drives

Recommended Posts

This happening over and over and over again. I have no idea why. I have a simple unRaid set up. The drives can never spin down when plex is running because of what is happening below. Anyone seen this or can point me in the direction of a fix? I would be eternally grateful. I have switched off every option in plex settings that might cause any tasks to run. I can't figure out what it is doing. I am new to unRaid. Sorry if this a simple issue. When I pause or stop the plex VMS the below does not happen and the drives spin down normally.

This will then just keep going on and on endlessly. My plex VMS is on 192.168.1.15. I access the unRaid webGUI at 192.168.1.15,

192.168.1.233 is the box that the unRaid server is running on.

Thanks you for any help!

Erich

No PLEX Console expert but there seems to be something, from the VM itself (127.0.0.1:<insert any random port here>), trying to sign in constantly (GET /identity (5 live) Signed-in).

Do you have anything else installed in the VM apart from PLEX?

I hope a virtual machine is what you mean by a plex VMS. Sorry if I got it wrong. :)

Thank you for your help!!

Nothing else installed. This is a new install of unRaid and setup of the 2 hard drives and hen I stalled plex and added some movies to the movie folder. Days later after plex was done with meta data this thing above started and has not quit whenever Plex is running in unRaid. When it is stopped, nothing going on and the drives spin down.

YEs virtual machine is what I meant.

Also sorry for all the typos in the OP.
