Weird issue with USB-A Dock on passed through USB port

Featured Replies

Hello all!

So I'm here because I have this weird issue with unRAID and passed through USB controllers and I wanted to know if anyone here had this happen or knew a possible solution:

I have passed through two USB controllers to each one of my VMs and as far as the USB ports are concerned, everything is working fine. However, when I connect a USB-A dock with SDCard reader, that's where the weirdness comes in:

The USB ports on the dock itself are getting passed through to the correct VM. However, when I slot in a memory card into any of the 4 slots on the dock, they get passed through to the other VM. I don't know why or how this is happening but it is slightly annoying since the other VM is for another person other than me and is locked most of the day. I also have a faint memory of the SD slots working correctly when I originally passed them through. I have since upgraded fro 6.10rc1 to rc2 and rc3 and the situation is still there. Unsure if the behavior would have been different on Stable.

Turning off the second VM also doesn't solve this, as if tried. as well as turning it off and on again. The server I mean.

Any ideas anyone? Help would very much be appreciated.

Thanks :)
