May 8, 201115 yr I recently tried a new shipping handler, shipito.com, to handle shipping a laptop from the USA to Australia. Their service is very good and quite cheap. You get your own USA-based mailing address so you can purchase whatever you want and have it transparently shipped to your address anywhere in the world. They even inspected the laptop for me, including turning it on, and they took photos and emailed them to me. Their fees are very low - $8.50 to join (refunded on your first shipment), $1 for photos (optional), $8.50 for any special requests (optional). Very competitive shipping rates with your choice of freight company (fedex, ups, usps, dhl). They'll even handle USA purchases for you (so you can buy from places like newegg who don't usually sell to non-USA residents).
