Dear all

 

Unfortunately i have a strange problem with my unraid server, each time that the server try to make a parity check freeze.

i'm already tried to stop the parity check only to test but after 1/2 days freeze again.

I already enable the syslog local server, could you help me please?

2 week ago i have updating the firmware on both controller RAID like suggested for disk error issue.

I would check the physical connections and cabling. Many of the drives I saw had UDMA_CRC_Error_Count and not just 1 or 2. I saw one drive that had over 100000. I also saw a couple drives that had very high read error rates.

Some disk are very old disk maybe 6 or 7 years.

By the way tomorrow should be arrive the new power supply i purchase the lux 650w bronze.

Unfortunately i'm try to start the array without rebuild to try to move the data to other NAS to avoid lost data, but after few times the server freeze again..
