Cannot see Unraid server on router

Featured Replies

So, I am currently setting up a minecraft server on unraid, but I need to portforward so people over at my friends house can join.
My problem is that Xfinity doesn't see my machine as they need to see the device and I cannot just assign an IP address.

I can connect to the server VIA SMB, PING, WIN10, WIN11, and even linux, but my router just doesn't see it on the network. As for that I cannot port forward.

It's like its invisible to the network but not to the clients.

When I run VMs they show up on the network.

Is no problem with the software, problem with router, If anyone else comes to this issue as any other server

the problem might be that xfinity routers don't allow hard wired connections to be seen on the network or port forward!
