April 11, 20224 yr Community Expert Also. if those are 'shucked' drives then you might be falling foul of the 3.3v power issue where a pin needs masking off.

The drives were formatted at 520 bytes, I reformatted them to 512 bytes and after 17 hours they are working fine.
