[solved] Help with unraid-status-email failure notifications

Featured Replies

I installed the unraid-status-email package through unMenu yesterday in the course of building my server. It's sending me failure notifications every hour, but I'm never able to find any errors in the syslog. Right now the system is operating without a parity drive - I'm in the process of preclearing it. Could that be the problem?

I'm attaching my syslog, and the emails I'm receiving look like this:

Subject:unRaid Failure Notification - One or more disks are disabled or invalid.
Status update for unRAID  Tower
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

According to the e-mail, Disk0  (your parity disk) is disabled.  (apparently you un-assigned it)  You can ignore the e-mails, as you know the cause.

Ah gotcha. I was thinking of disk 0 as /dev/sda, which is one of the data drives. Thanks for clarifying!
