coziers
Hi, I currently swapped the innards of my server. Upon booting, I get the error message 'Device "eth0" does not exist', but I cannot see why. Can anyone please assist? Diagnostics attached: aramis-diagnostics-20220412-1058.zip Quote Link to comment
Solution Squid Posted April 12, 2022 Solution Share Posted April 12, 2022 No driver is being loaded. 6.8.3 is rather ancient. Update to 6.9.2 or 6.10.0-rc4+ and see if that fixes it Quote Link to comment
coziers
What's the best way to manually update given the GUI is not available? Is it just the old method of extracting and replacing the files on the usb? EDIT: replaced the bz* files and server started with network available Edited April 13, 2022 by coziers Quote Link to comment

JorgeB
May 2 12:40:57 Tower kernel: igc: probe of 0000:03:00.0 failed with error -13 NIC is failing to initialize, you can try -rc5, but not sure if the driver is different. Quote Link to comment
dk
I tried rc5 as well. Same issue with eth0. I will try again. Anything I can do to force it to initialize? windows install on nvme drive on same system has no issues. Quote Link to comment

Not finding a lot on info in the forum about that NIC and Unraid support, maybe not yet supported, you might need to wait for a newer release or use an add-on NIC for now. Quote Link to comment
