April 13, 20224 yr I converted all drives to XFS. However, following a complete component upgrade, all drives are showing ReiserFS. Has anyone else experienced something like this? How can I begin to troubleshoot why? aramis-diagnostics-20220413-0819.zip

April 13, 20224 yr Author I can assure you it was done. Days of reformatting and moving data between drives. I'm trying to find the screenshots showing all drives as XFS because I knew someone would say it was impossible (understandably, I totally get it).
April 13, 20224 yr Community Expert Now that I think about it I believe a long time ago I could mount a disk reiserfs after formatting it with xfs, stop the array, click on all the disks and change the filesystem from reiserfs to XFS, see if they still mount, there could be issues with filesystem since mounting/unmounting will always generate some writes.
April 13, 20224 yr Author Cool...thanks for not just writing this issue off as impossible and moving on. I cant fathom re-doing the conversion, so I'll try anything at this point (that doesnt lose my data). I do have a spare HDD in case I need to start this migration effort all over again ...
April 13, 20224 yr Author Unfortunately, manually selecting xfs results in drive showing unmountable. Selecting auto mounts as reiserfs. Looks like we're going the long route.
April 13, 20224 yr Community Expert Still think that most likely the the disks were never converted, filesystem for the array disks was set to reiser, changing hardware wouldn't change that, but if they don't mount xfs your only option is to convert (again).
