VM + Snapcast Client

Featured Replies

Hi,

It's more of a general VM question than it is an Unraid problem.

Im looking to get a snapclient running on my unraid server through a VM. But I get the following error:

Exception in Init Alsa: Cant open default:card=Audio

Ive read that this is due to pulseaudio using it. So without wanting to dig to deep into a new Chapter. I thought maybe someone here knows sth easy?

Should I just disable pulseaudio? If I just use a snapcast browser client, it crackles and changing some settings will only temporarily solve the crackling. (besides the fact that the VM will stop giving the browser the juice after a while, so the music just stops).

I have my unraid server right next to my Receiver, so it's so silly not to use it as a snapclient.
