"Machine Check Events detected on your server"

Featured Replies

Hello everyone,

The "Fix Common Problems" plugin is reporting that my server has some "Machine Check Event" errors. However I'm not quite sure what I'm looking for in these diagnositcs.

This is a repurposed QNAP TS-EC2480U-RP.

Thank you for any help in advance.

I've found the author of, "Fix Common Problems" to be very active and helpful. I've never seen a, "Machine Check Event", but I'm very certain it means something (even if the "error" isn't as specific as "we" would like). The link/reference below is to the support forum for, "Fix Common Problems".

The mce happened during processor initialization (happens on certain hardware combinations, probably related to firmware update) and can be safely ignored if there are no other issues with your system
