Copying unraid files to external hard drive?

Featured Replies

I apologize for this silly question.  I've been popping hard drives to my new unraid server and expanding the array when its done.  I've been following the configuration tutorial, however, out of curiousity, I didn't find a walkthrough on the best way to copy files from an unraid server to an external hard drive.  How would one go about this?  Is it the same way through MC?

Thanks.

It works the same way like mentioned in the Tutorial to get things onto the Server from an external HDD.

But dont forget, to write onto an external NTFS Drive you have to install the NTFS-3G Driver via unMenu.
