I'm trying to set up a user that will have read only permissions. For some reason the only options available are R/W and I can not figure out how to change that.

 

The share is public - maybe that's why.

I see a private share with read only access.

 

Any tips would be great. Thanks

    If a share is public, everyone has RW access.

     

    "Secure", and everyone has read access, and selected users have RW

     

    "Private", and guests have no access, selected users have read only and selected users have RW
