10Gbe NIC issue - not visible in network settings

Featured Replies

I recently installed an ASUS XG-C100C 10G PCI-E Network Adapter in my server with Supermicro X9DRi-LN4+ with 4x intel integrated NICs (one being used currently)

It appears Unraid is recognizing it, but it is not showing up in network settings to do anything with.

Is there something Im missing?

No driver but you're using a very old Unraid release, try v6.9.2 or latest v6.10-0-rc4

The plan to update is on the horizon, but if Im not mistaken the driver for this card was put in around 6.7ish

Don't know about that, but no driver is being loaded for that NIC:

Subsystem: ASUSTeK Computer Inc. Device [1043:8812]

Could it be this is some new version of the card where the appropriate driver isnt being installed? Is there anything else that I could troubleshoot to see why this isnt working?

There are a bunch of other posts showing that the card is supported.

Any help is very much appreciated, Im pretty new to this whole linux world.
