May 12, 201115 yr I have a question regarding my new 5.0beta6a server: I ran fdisk -l on my server, and it returned me, for every unraid disk, the following WARNING: GPT (GUID Partition Table) detected on '/dev/sda'! The util fdisk doesn't support GPT. Use GNU Parted. then fdisk lists one partiton of the linux type other than that, everything works fine is it because of the 4k-aligned MBR partition ? can I dismiss this message?
May 19, 201115 yr Author Apparently I have old GPT data on these disks... http://www.rodsbooks.com/gdisk/wipegpt.html but unraid doesn't include gdisk or sgdisk utilities can I ignore this fdisk message then ? or should I do something about it ?
